I am a Speech Therapist and Audiologist with a special interest in ear and hearing care.
Hearing is important but listening gives you access to be part of conversations!
During assessment and treatment, the main focus is on improving your quality of life by addressing the impact of the hearing impairment. Assessment includes mainly ear and hearing tests with hearing aid evaluation, hearing aids, re/habilitation as part of treatment but not limited to that.
Active listening, family centred therapy guided by current research is at the heart of this practice.
